After a hectic exam session, I've finally found some time to devote to my artwork and my site. It would appear I've forgotten to upload two of last summer's sketches to the gallery. This has now been remedied! I have also uploaded a third newer sketch for your viewing pleasure :)

It's been close to a year since my last update. After an arduous summer and some autumn disappointments I am back to bring the newest eye-candy.

First up, we have my FAILED entry in the ConceptArt.org Newborn contest:

Secondly, some Warhammer: Age of Reckoning-related works: the first is a series of pauldron redesign sketches, and the second is a work in progress poster of all my guildmates from the Karak Ungor EU server. Thanks lads!

The semester is finally over and another update is here! This here is a picture I made for a good friend. It was supposed to be a birthday present(many many months ago), however, with Warhammer and university eating up all of my time I only managed to finish it today. I wish I had the patience to put more work into it, however, I don't. So here it is, in all its glory! Enjoy!

All my exams are over and passed! The last week I've been intensely working on a few fan-art pieces for the upcoming Red Alert 3 game by Electronic Arts Inc.

Here you can see two relatively old sketches which I recently dug up. I consider them quite cute and here you have them. One is a fan-art pic of Raziel and Kain(Legacy of Kain series by Eidos) along with Kane(from C&C by EA), the other is just a random character sheet in which I developed a skeleton-lord-type character and added a few comical remarks(which sadly I am too lazy to translate in English).

This will be a rather big update(actually, the biggest yet).
As I have promised, six sample pages of my coloring work for Dabel Brothers Publishing have been uploaded to the gallery.

Additionally there is a new personal piece uploaded to the gallery as well. It is a bit of an abstract one, but then again this isn't the only abstract piece in the gallery. :)

And finally, some wonderful news- I have been awarded the Honorary Seal of Varna Medical University for illustration and achievements in art! The ceremony was held on May 23. Below you can find a photo of the seal and scans of three newspaper articles portraying the event. Unfortunately, they are all in Bulgarian. I will upload some additional photos of the ceremony itself and a video of my speech in a few days.

A new image has been uploaded to the gallery in the Sketch category. This will probably be the last update you see here until the end of my exams in the first third of July with the sole exception of the update at the end of May with the promised comic book pages. The image uploaded now is somewhat of an experiment with a couple of new techniques in Painter and Photoshop. I hope you like the overall detailed chaotiqueness of it :)

Much time has passed since the last update to this site. I am pleased to announce that in the last months I have finished coloring the pilot issue of Dabel Brothers' Frankenstein: Prodigal Son with lineart by Brett Booth.
After the book is released on May 18 samples of the pages done for it will be uploaded to the gallery. In meantime, here is a picture for a dear friend that has been waiting for it for a ver very very long time. I certainly hope he can forgive me for my horrendous tardiness. :)

HOORAY! I have finally finished an old piece on which I have been laboring on and off for about over two years now:) It is actually my very first work in Painter. There were quite a few flaws I had to iron out so that it could get to a presentable stage. Even so, it still cannot be classified as anything else but a concept sketch-painting. Still, I like it. I've worked nearly a hundred hours altogether on this project most of which were spent in fixing old problems and experimenting with new techniques. It still has some discrepancies, yet by nowI have officially lost all interest in working on it any further under pain of imminent insanity XD
